Astro-ph Club -- Summer 2010

In the spirit of journal club, and as a way to keep up with Astro-ph, the "Astro-ph Club" will meet in the library on Thursdays at 11:00 am (following coffee).

People are not required to sign up, but we encourage that everyone try to bring one paper they read from Astro-ph that week. There will be NO projector, so come ready to draw and explain your favorite graph, or bring an extra copy of the important pictures if necessary. People should provide a quick summary (~10 minutes) in order to stimulate conversation on the paper topic.

This page will serve as a reference for the papers we discussed at each session.
