	7	The latter half of the twentieth century radically altered our perception of classical physics and the world around us. After decades of research, the confirmation of the existence of the Higgs boson at CERN last summer was the final fundamental piece needed to complete the Standard Model of physics. But what exactly does that even mean? What is the Higgs boson? Why do we need it What comes next? This lecture will discuss these most troubling questions in an attempt to demystify the elusive Higgs boson.
