Astronomy Journal Club / Spring 2010

Journal club is held in the 14th floor library of Pupin, every Friday beginning at 11:00 am. Please feel free to sign up for open spots below. Also, please post a link to your paper by the preceding Wednesday so people can download a copy beforehand.

Two papers will be presented each week and we would like a mix of students, faculty and post-docs to present. Ideally each week one student and one faculty member/post-doc will present. We will have a projector and laptop available to project a copy of your paper. You may also prepare a powerpoint presentation on your topic if you'd like, but it is not required. Although we are not requiring a presentation, speakers are reminded that is important for them to provide background and context for their paper.
