Finding Exoplanets: Many Needles in the Largest of Haystacks
We currently know of roughly 300 planets that orbit other stars with new detections occurring almost weekly. But of these 300 planets, none of them have been imaged directly. So if we can't see them, how do we know know they are there? In this talk, I will discuss the current and future techniques for finding exoplanets. This includes radial velocity, eclipsing, microlensing, and astrometric methods.
