Four exceptional astronomers - Donald Lynden-Bell, Wal Sargent, Nick Woolf, and Roger Griffin - celebrate 50 years of friendship and exploration on a reunion road trip in the southwestern United States, reliving roadtrips they took during a formative year at the beginning of their careers in California in 1960. They lived in the Athenaeum at Caltech, worked in the Robinson Building, observed on Mt. Wilson, ate meals together in the cafeteria, - Nick visited from Lick Observatory on weekends (having studied at Manchester with Wal) and they all took road trips together during the holidays. Run time: 88 min.
