This semester, we will continue a format for discussing articles organized by Vox Charta: ​http://voxcharta.org/. Astro-ph will start with a short presentation on a recent paper by a presenter, then continue with a discussion of this week's papers. There is no expectation for attendees to read the presented work beforehand.

If you haven't yet, please start an account on that website, indicate your group as "Columbia" and begin voting on articles to discuss on Friday afternoons at noon.
