Galaxy Journal Club / Fall 2009
Meetings take place every Friday at 1pm in 1402. Two or three papers are discussed during the meeting. Please, volunteer to lead a discussion on any relevant paper on the broad topic of galaxies (large scale, star formation in galaxies, interactions, galactic evolution, etc ...). In order for everybody to become familiar with the papers, we ask the speakers to upload the links a few days in advance. Discussion on a paper directly related to your own work (even accompanied by an image or a plot) is a valid option. Visitors are always welcome to talk about their current research.
