Here is an overhead drawing and side drawing of our Second Leg. Afterwards are actual pictures taken of the second leg. This leg begins at the 90 degree bend where the beam is steered by our spherical "Bender" lens. Afterwards there is a Einzel Lens ( Einzel 3), two sets of horizontal and vertical steerers, a NEC beam profile monitor (BPM 2), a retractable Faraday cup ( FC 2) , and finally a collimating aperture (aperture 1). After the beam passes the aperture it enters the photo-detachment region.
