Laboratory studies of dielectronic recombination (DR)
We are carrying out astrophysically motivated measurements of DR using the heavy ion test storage ring (TSR) located at the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg, Germany. This work is being performed in collaboration with the group of Andreas Wolf at MPIK and of Alfred Mueller and Stefan Schippers at Justus-Liebig University in Geissen, Germany. Here is a list of the ions we have studied to data and links to the final data sets.
