v8 v9 3 3 = Laboratory studies of dielectronic recombination (DR) = 4 4 5 We are carrying out astrophysically motivated measurements of DR using the heavy ion test storage ring (TSR) located at the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg, Germany. This work is being performed in collaboration with the group of Andreas Wolf at MPIK and of Alfred Müller and Stefan Schippers at Justus-Liebig University in Geissen, Germany. Here is a list of the ions we have studied to data and links to the final data sets. 5 We are carrying out astrophysically motivated measurements of DR using the heavy ion test storage ring (TSR) located at the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg, Germany. Here is a list of the ions we have studied to data and links to the final data sets. Note that these data sets are really the sum of the resonant DR and non-resonant radiative recombination (RR) cross sections times the relative velocity and then convolved with the energy spread of the experiment, i.e., a rate coefficient. This is commonly called the merged beams recombination rate coefficient (MBRRC). 6 6 7 7 * [http://docs.astro.columbia.edu/wiki/SavinGroup/DR/Fe7+ Fe7+] Not yet available.
