It is the policy of GSAC is thatfor a department to be in "good standing", the department's GSAC representative or a proxy from the same department must attend all meetings throughout the academic year with two allowed absences. One of the students must be from the natural sciences, one from the social sciences, and one from the humanities. Currently, an astronomy student is the natural sciences representative from GSAC.
